§ 50-44. Penalties.

(a)

Any minor violating the provisions of this article shall be guilty of a class "C" misdemeanor as defined in the Texas Penal Code and shall be dealt with in accordance with the provisions of Tex. Family Code tit. 3.

(b)

A parent of a minor violating this article shall be guilty of a class "C" misdemeanor, which shall be punishable by a fine of not less than $50.00, nor more than $500.00.
